I’m Lesley Jackson. My interest in people and their wellbeing started at school, partly triggered by family events. I decided to study Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Newcastle University before completing a Masters degree in Nutrition at King’s College, London. I worked for the National Health Services for many years before taking a career break to start my family. Returning to work after six years I began private consultations which has been very interesting, but also challenging at first until the business was established. Fitter For Life (FFL) looks a really interesting new business and the opportunity to be part of it has come at just the right time for me.
My FFL contribution for the moment is nutritional advice relating to course design, and being an adviser and reference point for the FFL coaches on anything to do with nutrition and related health and wellbeing issues. I am also available for individual client consultations where people have very specialist needs or concerns. I am very experienced in working with people right across the UK’s current demography and population groups. Like all of my FFL preventative healthcare colleagues, I am very motivated in working with diverse client groups.
