A recent change of policy on “primary” pain treatment in the UK, defined by the National Institute for health and Care Excellence (Nice) was reported in the Guardian The article discusses the guidance that exercise is now considered a better treatment for “primary” pain then than painkillers.

A recent study led by Dr Robert Sallis of Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, Fontana, California involving 48,440 people found that regular physical activity was strongly associated with a reduced risk of severe COVID-19 outcomes among infected adults. The study results were published in the British Medical Journal of Sports Medicine as well as reported in the New York Times.
