Charles Fair

Charles specialises in helping organisations build healthy workplace cultures and engaged workforces.  He works with leadership and HR teams to design employee research programmes and turn HR and employee survey data into insight and action. He has led consulting projects in post-merger integration, strategy development and alignment, reward and management development. Employee survey clients have included RBS, BT, BAE Systems, Cobham, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Pets at Home, and The Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria. He has worked internationally across Europe and Russia, and was seconded to Tokyo earlier in his career.

He has held senior consulting and organisation development roles at Willis Towers Watson, Right Management and Peakon and spent three years as Head of Consultancy at Great Place to Work® where he helped organisations with their journey from good to great. He has a longstanding interest in wellbeing and served on the advisory committee for the Business in the Community’s (BITC) Workwell campaign which developed the Workwell model of a healthy workplace.

Charles studied geography at Cambridge University and has an MBA from HEC School of Management, Paris. He is currently writing his PhD thesis (King’s College London) on large scale leadership selection and development programmes.
